* Homework Sets 7 and 8 are now finalized and ready for you to enjoy.

* The final exam occurs on Thursday, Dec. 17, 9:30 a.m. It will cover Homework Sets 7 and 8. Note that Homework set 7 has been modified slightly. Homework set 8 is still being put into final form.

* The third exam is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, 11/19 and will cover problem sets 5 and 6.

* The second exam is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, 10/29 and will cover problem sets 3 and 4.

* Note that there is one additional problem in Problem Set 3. It is problem 3.9 and is not found in the text. It can be obtained here: 3.9 (click to get the problem as a PDF).

* The first exam is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 9/29. We will focus on homework problems during the class meeting just prior to the exam (tentatively 9/24).
