Dr. Haeyeon Yang is an Assistant Professor in Physics Department, Utah State University. His current research focuses on growth of semiconductor quantum nanostructures such as quantum wires and quantum dots using Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) and Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM). His recent breakthrough in nanostructure research is the discovery of InAs quantum wires formed on smooth InP substrates.
He is teaching undergraduate courses of Thermal Physics, PHYX 3700, Introduction to Nanotechnology, Physics of Nanotechnology, and Nanotechnology Lab.  Nano-chemistry webpage is also provided here.
