Goals

 

 

á      Understand basic elements of classical and quantum field theory

á      Understand the role of symmetry in determining the basic types of field

á      Understand the use of Feynman path integrals

á      Solve scattering problems in quantum electrodynamics (QED)

 

 

 

Grading will be based on problems and exams
