Instructions To apply for graduate studies in Physics you should send: • A letter of introduction (who you are, where you live, which degree you are pursuing, when you wish to start, etc.) • A CV. • General GRE scores.* • TOEFL scores (international applicants from non-English-speaking countries).* • Undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) transcripts.* • 3 Letters of recommendation. to Karalee Ransom Physics Academic Advisor Department of Physics Utah State University Logan, UT 84322-4415 USA These materials will be used to determine whether you can be admitted to the graduate program in Physics. Successful applicants will then be assisted in completing the application/admissions procedure with the USU School of Graduate Studies. * At this stage of the application process, originals are not necessary - copies are ok. When your application is submitted to the School of Graduate Studies valid originals will be required. Deadlines: Evaluation of applications will begin on the following dates. Decisions will be made as soon as possible. For admission in the Fall semester: January 15. For admission in the Spring semester: June 1. To ensure proper consideration of your application, your materials should arrive at the USU Physics Department no later than these dates. |
