General Information

The 2006 Annual Meeting of the Four Corners Section of the American Physical Society (APS) was held Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 on the campus of Utah State University in Logan, UT.

The meeting was held in conjunction with a Zone 15 meeting of the Society of Physics Students (SPS).  Participation by SPS members from other zones within the Four Corners region (Zones 14 and 16) is encouraged.  Special SPS events are planned.

This was a general physics meeting:  In addition to the invited talks, contributed talks were encouraged from all fields of physics and physics education from both academic and industrial disciplines.

The meeting strongly encouraged student participation, both undergraduate and graduate. Travel stipends were available to qualified students and awards were presented for outstanding student talks.
